MINI RUGBY

Junior/Mini/Midi Matches and Training Sessions.

 

Training sessions are held at Bakewell Mannerians Rugby Club (The Showground, Coombs Road, Bakewell, Derbyshire, DE45 1AQ) on each Sunday morning throughout the season (which runs from 1st September 2008 to 30th April 2009).

 

Training for all teams :  1030am - 12am.

 

If the club’s pitch is unplayable we will go to one of the following locations:

Lady Manners’ School Rugby Pitches,

Rowsley Football Pitch

Or St Anselm’s School Rugby Pitches.

 

If there is a doubt about the weather, or the pitch, a message will be left on the following number 07779587841 by 9:30 am each Sunday, or on the welcome page of this website.  If there is no message it means there is training as normal.

 

Please note that the club or the coaching staff will not accept responsibility for children after training has finished.  It is assumed that parents will supervise children after training.

 

Match Days.  See the Mini Fixture List, and the Junior Fixture list Detailed arrangements will be published on this site, or given to Parents and Players at least one week prior to a match.

Home.  Minis - Please arrive for 1030.  This gives 30 minutes for a warm up.  Kick off will be at 11am for all matches.  Juniors please get there for 1015.  Refreshments are provided for all players from the Farmers' Feast Cafe and Bar afterwards.  The Framers' Feast is open throughout the morning for purchase of coffees, teas and breakfast.

AwayWe aim to arrive at the opposition's ground for 1030.  This gives 30 minutes for a warm up.  Kick off will usually be at 11am for all matches.  Usually there will be refreshments provided for all players in the opposition's clubhouse after the game.  To get a map see the Fixture List and click on the opposition's name.
